About a month ago my bun Rafiki started acting scared of everyone. She will back up into a corner once I open the cage and kind of just hunch over and bow her head down. I have never nor will I ever hurt her or scared her in anyway. Once I actually get her out of the cage she becomes the love bug I know her as. Is there something I should be worried about? This all started when she was having accidents outside of her litter box. She is an unspayed female and I do plan on getting her spayed once she is old enough.

Is there any way you can open her cage and let her come out on her own? Maybe it’s more a territorial thing than her being afraid.

I know that’s what I have to do with my girl. I can’t get her out of her condo by hand.

Well I can get her out with my hands sometimes and other times she runs around in it (she has never attacked me). I have noticed whenever I clean her cage and give her fresh food and water she likes to sit right up against me and at times she even likes to get out on her own for a bit and then return to her cage. Its really at random with her. Another thing I noticed is she is a pretty messy bun but she likes to keep that corner of hers clean.
