Jack is getting a lot better about the litter box but I’ve noticed (3 times) that he’s sprayed urine on the walls. I know this is normal marking behavior but I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent it.
Jack is neutered but he’s about 2½ and was neutered around 2, after he already has a litter. So perhaps it’s become a normal routine?
Will it eventually stop or is there a way I can help stop it?

Is he around other rabbits that he’s not bonded with? Rabbits are more likely to spray when they feel there are other rabbits in their territory who shouldn’t be there.

I would just manage it by putting up some cardboard or something behind the litter pan. I’ve noticed mine have sprayed a couple times right behind the litter box over the years and I think they maybe aimed too high or missed the box or something.

No other bunnies. Maybe it’s just ’cause it’s all fairly new to him (living with us). I think one was definitely an accidental, over the pan spray but the others were deliberate. Do you think he’ll stop once he’s settled more?

That’s possible. Is he free roam? If he is and he has a very large area, maybe try reducing his space to see if that helps.

No, not free roam, he’s WAAAY too curious and our house isn’t bunny-proofed enough for him, LOL. The sprays have only happened in the bunny condo so far though. I really, really don’t want them on the couch ever!
