I have been using these large tubs from cabelas ($7.00) and they have been great as a litter box for our 6lb bunny. We had them for processing venison (will need to buy more quick before my hubby gets a deer). My bun has to hop a bit to get into it but it is not as high as the cat box I was trying to use. It is however high enough that he cannot pee over the side. It also contains a nice handful of hay that I smush on one side. I was going to get a rack but he seems to like the hay in the box. It is perfect size for him and the hay. He can nestle down in it and eat and seems to really like them. May be too high for a dwarf bunny who does not want to hop into the box but for an average size it has been perfect. They often have free shipping offers if you watch.

That’s a really substantial looking box! And big! What a cool idea. Thanks for sharing (and probably cheaper than most cat boxes!)

Its a heavy duty plastic. I paid more for the litter box from the store and I had to drive to get it!
