I know usually this isnt an uncommon thing and its usually nothing to worry about but its something thats been going on for a while. Its become a common thing lately. Does watercress or romaine lettuce cause red urine? Like dandelion leaves. I feed him watercress alot along with his daily hay and pellets. He peed outside his little box today and it was a deep reddish color. He’s an unneutered male rabbit most likely just about a year old. I dont know his exact age because I rescued him from a box. He was doing it a lot when I first got him but after I got him back onto a normal diet it went back to normal for a while. But now he’s peeing red again. Any ideas? Should I try cutting out all the veggis and treats and just feed him hay and pellets for a while and see if that helps??

It’s pretty normal… especially if they like craisins or carrots…. I really wouldn’t worry too much.. Its a very standard colour in the rainbow that is bunny pee.

Hey, can you tell me what craisins are? I’ve heard this a few times, but have no idea. Ta.

              Dried Cranberry’s
It is a trademarked name… I always by the Oceanspray Brand as they are not soaked in oil and processed sugar like some of the generic brands, For treats you can also buy Raisins… They should only be given in small quantities like a reward for good behavior.
