        Hi everyone,

I have been getting Lily the five pound bag of Kaytee Alfalfa Free Timothy Complete Rabbit Food. I just went to the store and got her a ten pound bag this time and noticed it had a few pieces of corn and seeds in it, but it usually doesn’t. Could it be that a few pieces got into that particular bag? I’m wondering if I should give it to her (and taking out the little pieces of corn and seeds I see) or return it. I’m not sure if this is a normal occurrence or not.

        Thanks!

They probably manufacture the rabbit food in the same factory as they do other small animal food. If you can remove the pieces, I would just remove them. If a couple seeds get through, it probably won’t cause major issues. But if you’re uncomfortable doing that, you could contact the company.

Thank you very much for replying, I have taken out the pieces of corn and seeds so it’s just pellets and have just given it to her. I will continue to remove the pieces as I feed her. Thanks again for the advice!
