I have a bunny room but I know my daughter is going to want the bun to sleep in her bedroom at night. I refer not to keep the bun in the bedroom as he won’t get as much attention as he would in the bunny room and the bunny room allows for better free roam during the day. So, I was thinking of having his room for the day so he can be closer to the family and then maybe a C&C cage in my daughters room for night. Would this confuse the bun? Not sure if it would be too much to have a day vs. night space….

It might but he may adjust eventually.

I have a feeling too that eventually your daughter may not want him in her room as they can be noisy at times and also the issue of hay/litter/fur may cause some smell and allergy problems – of course, it’s hard to tell your child this but they figure it out eventually :~)

I agree with Sarita. Mine has two environments all together and I think consistency is key. He will adjust eventually but she is right, might be more of a noise/disturbance issue than anything else.

Mine have a slightly different set up, depending on what time of day it is, and have adjusted with no problems. During the day, they are in the kitchen. When I am home from work, they are in the living room for the most part, although they have access to the kitchen. At night, they are in their cage in the living room.

My newest rabbit still doesn’t quite get the routine but the rabbit I’ve had for awhile gets it and knows where he is supposed to be. I think your rabbit will get used to it if you are consistent.
