ive been having trouble trying to get my bunny bentley to eat his timothy hay probably because i didnt realize how crappy the hay from walmart was, so i went to the pet store and bought some timothy hay and orchard grass hay and hes been eating like crazy ! is it okay for him to have orchard grass hay everyday ? i mixed the timothy and orchard hay together in a big bin so he’ll be getting both everytime i fill up his hay rack.

You can. Some people never feed Timothy because of allergies. As long as it’s a grass hay you can feed it. Timothy is just the most popular grass hay people feed.

Any hay your rabbit will eat is a good hay.

i only feed orchard grass because of allergies as well. also I’ve noticed, when I’m concerned about how much hay he’s eating a throw a handful in his litterbox (i realize you may already do this but just in case lol). He eats much more when he can bend down rather than look up to eat.
