In light of Bella’s recent illnesses, I thought “gee, I should really have a bunny emergency kit all ready so that I can access the items quickly when I need them.”
So, here is what I am going to put in so far, anything else I need or don’t need?

        -Critical care
        -Simethecone baby gas drops
-Organic vegetable baby food to mix with the critical care in case they won’t eat it
        -Various size syringes
        -Povodine iodine to clean wounds
-Meticam (that is, if I can get ahold of any)
        -Thermometer
        -Cotton balls
        -Corn starch or sytic powder
        -Saline solution
-Phone numbers for vets, emergency vets

What about neosporin? I have heard the original is ok, but triple action is not, and vice versa.
And pedialite? For dehydration? Is that ok?
        Thanks for the help!

Neosporin without pain reliever is alright. Pedialyte is okay to give and I think they have unflavored versions.

If you want more ideas check out the pinned post for first aid:

Oh yes check out the link MoveDiagonally posted-that was a great discussion.

The nice thing is-most of these items can be used for you, family members and other pets too, so you can save money (and space) by purchasing one item that can be used on everyone-say neosporin.

MoveDiagonally- Oops, sorry I didn’t look there before I posted this thread, but that is a very helpful list! Thanks!

Kokaneeandkahula-Yes, multipurpose emergency kits are good. I will probably use this kit for my guinea pigs as well as they have virtually the same medical issues.

if its for your piggies too, keep some extra vitamin c supplements in there too, just in case.

Yep, bought some Oxbow Daily C to add to the kit.
The kit is almost done, just need to get some saline.
Monkeybun-Do you have piggies/have had them in the past?
