        Hi EveryBunny!

So I got a new bunny, 3 months old, Female, Holland lop

But I have heard that bunnies have to eat greens.

So I decided to add some pellets and greens to Bo’s hayrack, but im not sure WHICH greensvare right for her. Also, I cant find a hayrack for hay to easily slide out. Any answers please?

Did you see the veggies list under bunny info on this site? There is a nice list of recommended veggies. Anything from that is fine and it is really just what your bunny likes. So I would just start by getting a few basics like romaine lettuce to see what she likes. Introduce them one at a time so you can see what she likes and make sure nothing upsets her tummy. Then you can build up a nice selection of things you can rotate depending on season and to give her a nice variety.

Oh and no advice for hay. Most people put it in the litter box. Mine also like theirs in a cardboard box that I cut holes into.

For a hay rack I use a metal storage basket I bought at Target. It was in the bathroom section. I just set it on the floor of my bunny’s cage and he eats out of it. Look around in the kitchen/bathroom/storage section of stores in your area. I also know people use a bent NIC grid for a hay rack as well.
