So Wooly has been doing this for quite awhile, but I am feeling curious. Most of the time when he is laying down, he will start out “balanced”. Then he will gradually sink down to his right. Sometimes he won’t make it all the way down into a fully lying on his side position. It looks weird, it’s like he’s just leaning to the right.

Before, I worried it was his ear or something. But the vet looked in his ears when he was there a month ago and he’s been through 2 1/2 rounds of (different) antibiotics for his URI.

I’m starting to think it is just one of his quirks. Does anyone else’s bun do this?

Rufus does this quite a bit! For months and months I’d never seen him flop he would just stretch out and settle down on his tummy and then gradually roll to one side. It’s only recently I’ve got to see the glorious standing up and then whoosh – upside down sleeping

Wooly used to full out flop, but he doesn’t do it as often now. Yes, it’s like he is slowly working himself over onto his side. A lot of the time though, he never makes it all the way down. It’s weird.

Yep! Same thing here. I always think it can’t possibly be comfortable to stay stuck half-way rolled onto your side but he seems very relaxed!
