Max started shedding a couple of days ago. He’s a dutch rabbit so he’s black and white. The white fur is the only one I see shedding. Is that normal and how long will this last?

It really depends – sometimes sheds seem like they go on forever but to be honest I’ve never really monitored how long the sheds go on for my rabbits so I couldn’t tell you.

I will say however it does seem like the white fur is always more visible but it doesn’t mean the black fur is not shedding as well.
