        Hi First post here.

I plan to get an x pen for my new little guy as his temporary enclosure is MUCH too small. I only thought he would be in it for a little wile but there have been complications. It seems like I will need to find him a different cage than I had planned. I think an x pen is what I want for him I have a C&C for my other sweetie but it took sooo much work and I don’t want to build another especially when it might be temporary (I hope they can share the C&C one day.) basically I was just wondering if any of you can tell me if a xpen door is worth it. Or if I should save $10 and just go with the one without it. Is it hard to let the buns out by opening the cage ect. Also any alternative cage suggestions would be appreciated.

I would say an xpen with door is useful. Only if its a walk-through door. One you can use, not those little doors in the middle of a panel.

Otherwise, it’s really no problem opening a pen between panels to let bun come and go. : )

This style not so user friendly

For other housing options, have you had a look at the Habitats gallery? https://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/GreatHabitats/tabid/229/Default.aspx

I second the recommendation for the walk-through door. It makes my life sooooo much easier.
