My almost four month old rabbit loves to chew. I know all rabbits chew but my rabbit Pepper just chews. I gave her some empty shoeboxes, and she’s chews on the sides. She’s gone under the bed and it’s scared me but my cousin and I got her out. We keep her on a blanket in my room during playtime and she tries to dig at it. She also likes to chew on it too. But she did chew on my 3ds charger and I got really scared. Once I saw what she did I tried to shoo her away when she came near it, and in her cage, in the garage, she poops by her food! But why? Sorry I just have a lot of questions. This is my first rabbit.

Most rabbits will chew on pretty much anything given the chance. Make sure any cables are put away/bunny proofed (you can buy cable covers that they won’t/can’t chew through), and make sure she has lots of hay to graze on and perhaps some wooden chew toys, as shooing her away will stop her in the act but won’t prevent her doing it again. They also like digging – these are both natural behaviours for bunnies and as long as she’s just digging in your blanket there shouldn;t really be an issue.

Is she litter trained? If not she’ll probably poop anywhere. Rabbits often poop whilst they’re eating too, so that might be why it’s by her food. Again, that doesn’t really matter! Just make sure she has litter trays with some bunny safe litter and some hay in (preferably placed somewhere she already likes to poop)if you don’t already

She poops and pees right by her food though. We moved it, but she just continues to do it.

Also, your bunny is around the age where rabbits enter “puberty” and her hormones kick in. She may be being destructive and having bad litter box habits because of those hormones. Once she gets her spay, some of those behavoirs may diminish or disappear.
