I would go onto Petfinder.com and select Rabbit, and input your zip code. From there you will find lists of rescues and shelters with rabbits to adopt from the ones nearest to you to farther away. I would open the links to those shelters’ websites to get their contact info. and call or email each to ask if they have any of the breed you want. don’t know why you want those – if you head over to your nearest shelter, you may meet a different type of bunny who just steals your heart. But for now, let your fingers do the dialing/emailing.
Also can check your local yellow pages for animal control with rescued adoptable rabbits, as well as ask local exotics vets where they would recommend you look for someone with adoptables.

We encourage rabbit rescue on this site, but you are limited sometimes regarding breed. Rescues are only going to have rabbits who have been surrendered… And since many people still buy bunnies from petstores, most of what gets surrendered are “standard” rabbits (lops, new Zealands, dwarves, dutches, etc). Angoras are a more specialized breed, so if that is the only breed of rabbit you want, you’ll either need to be patient and keep checking rescues, or contact a breeder.

                  Very true Beka…
You can check out Bunspace too, they have an adoptable section used by many of the rescue groups.

Here's a little angora girl…. She looks so much like babies…. I wanted to keep my REW's but they were the first to be adopted from the oops litter.

I had wanted an angora, b/c I spin yarn. I live in the suburbs, so sheep aren’t an option. Porky is primarily my son’s pet though, so his incredible personality won out over fluff I could spin into yarn.

                        We found Porky on petfinder.

                            Minimum for 1 med-small size rabbit: 2′ X 4′
                            Minimum for 2 med-small size rabbit 4′ X 4′.
                            Minimum for 1 large-giant rabbit it’s 4′ X 4′
                            Minimum for 2 large-giant rabbit it’s 4′ X 8′

If the rabbits aren’t bonded when you get them you would have to house them separately until they are bonded.

The area that I have set up is about 4′ X 5′ with a small shelf thing with a ramp leading up to it
plus I’m homeschooled so I’l have plenty of time for them to play out there area

Available space is an important consideration, but equally important is your ability to provide what two rabbits need. Two rabbits are twice as expensive to care for, double food, veggies, hay, litter, and vet care. So keep that in mind as well!
