I'm just really excited! I was sitting on the floor with Mako and she suddenly leapt into the air and did a little twist to the side! Is that a binky? If so I'm really glad she's enjoying it here!

Binkies are a true expression of uncensored pure joy! I wonder who enjoys it more- the bunny or the blessed few who see it?

              AnnaW- beautiful signature.

They ARE cute! She did it again later hehe. Maybe it was her way of saying “thanks for trusting me to be loose in the kitchen finally” after i let her have the run of the kitchen overnight lol. I left her loose during work too and she did great so I bought some baby gates and made a swinging gate for the kitchen doorway in place of the cardboard that had been there

Yeah it really is! I'm avoiding telling my parents as they think I'm insane and I just found out my stepmom is coming up (from Texas to Illinois) on Sunday… Imagine my panic! I called them and asked if she'd be coming over… She's not… What a relief. lol! I told my dad "my coworker offered me a free rabbit" and he said "you don't need more rodents stinking up your house and your life is already complicated enough!" Little does he know how much EASIER it is to care for a rabbit vs. a rat… That is, it's a LOT easier to sweep and dump litter boxes than it is to scrub walls from spraying, scrub an entire cage every week and clean all the toys and hammocks and etc every week. And she smells WAY better (and, of course, is no rodent!).

We just had quite a moment I'm really tired so I flopped down on the floor next to her for a while and she climbed on me a bit and then stretched out beside me and I nearly fell asleep! lol
