Does anyone know how to buy (or make) rabbit-safe paint? I need it to be blue because that is pretty much the only color that will fit in with the room that the rabbit will be put into.

Bunny safe paint for what? Something they will ingest, or the walls?

It’s for the cage. It (hopefully) won’t be eaten, just chewed.

Ah. A non-toxic paint then, usually nursery paints would work. Something VOC free, lead free. There are several green (as in eco green) paints which have natural ingredients, that while not exactly safe to ingest, won’t hurt if they nibble a tiny bit. Most products marketed for children take into account the occasional item-in-mouth, that is usually where I start when shopping for the pets. If you’re talking painting designs, water based paints or even better, food dye. I don’t think I would paint the inside of their cage though, since buns do love to chew and short of food coloring based things, it isn’t really safe for them to ingest any paint.

I started searching and almost everything that popped up were airbrush paints and food paint. Are those o.k.?
