Adopting a rabbit is a wonderful idea, though lots of people on here own shop bought rabbits it is SUCH an enriching experience to adopt! I’ve had both a store bunny and rescues, and it really is lovely to give a bunny a new lease of life I don’t know much about mini Holland lops so hopefully someone else will give you a hand on that front
You can find tips and support on pretty much any subject on this forum, if you have any problems or questions this is definitely the place to be – so don’t hesitate to ask What kinds of tips were you looking for, health tips in regards to breed or bunnies in general?

Thank you so much for offering help! I really want to know about medical information (such as sore hocks and other harmful conditions) and about how often rabbits should visit the vet/what shots they need to have and how often.
Also, I am partially adopting because the rabbit rescue I am adopting from has the rabbits spayed/neutered before you adopt them, so that is another plus -

Sore hocks shouldn’t be a problem as long as you have suitable housing for your bun – what kind of habitat were you considering? One of my rescues had very bad hocks due to having been kept on a mixture of concrete and wire 24/7, so as you can imagine as long as you have a suitable cage/condo/pen for your bun that should not be a problem. That’s a definite consideration for adopting – spaying and neutering can be very stressful for bun and owner alike! 
When you adopt they will let you know whether they have had any jabs or anything of that description – where do you live? I’m in the UK so we vaccinate our bunnies against myxomatosis and viral haemorrhagic disease but I’m not sure if those differ depending on where you live!
Both of these jabs can be given as a booster every 12 months, or even every 6 months depending on how high the risk for the disease is in your area ….
BUT
I know that a lot of people on here do not jab their buns if they are to be 100% indoors
So it all depends on the habitat you’re thinking of for your bunny really! Have you got any ideas yet? There’s a great section on here for inspiration for habitats
