I was planning on starting my rabbit out loose in my kitchen (it's a small kitchen) and just using her cage to "crate" her when i'm out or asleep. Is this a bad idea or can I litter train her like this? Some people said the area may be too large for her and to start her in a smaller space/her cage. She has been sitting in her litter box frequently and seems to be beginning to understand what it's for already.

It should be OK if she is already becoming litter trained, and the crate is big enough and there is nothing in the kitchen that can hurt or bother her
So as long as she can’t get out of the kitchen and it’s bunny profed
          She should be fine.

Okay. The crate/cage is fairly small and I want to upgrade her when I can but this involves my fish dying or being rehomed for space reasons so it might be a while. She’ll have hours a day loose so I think it’ll be alright–it’s not much different than my dogs.
