Okay so i have had my holland lop 11 week old bunny for 3 weeks now. I was pretty sure she had gotten the full swing of the litter box, i mean she still poops everywhere but she was peeing in the litter box every time. About 3 days ago she had a mistake, that was fine, i just put her in the litter box to show her what to do again, then yesterday: another mistake, then today: pees outside the box AGAIN, i havent given her any more space than when i first got her, and it is very aggravating spending so much time trying to litter train her when she is going to pee outside of the box when the box has been 3 feet away every time!! Help?! Id also like some tips on how to get her to poop in the box also, ive been trying the putting the poops in the box over and over, ive tried placing her in the box over and over, she just hops right out though…. Erg

If your bunny is 3 1/2 months old, expect this to happen and expect it to get worse. She is entering Into bunny “puberty” and her hormones are starting to kick in. When she gets her spay (in 1/2 months to 4 months), she will go back to her normal habits. Unfortunatly, until then, you may just have to deal. Keep doing what you are doing, and perhaps schedule a vet appointment soon to talk about her spay with the vet.

This is pretty common with young rabbits before being spayed. When they start to enter puberty they get more interested in marking their territory. I would continue to manage it and it will probably improve once she is spayed.
