I have made a Binky Bunny account soley to obtain some answers about the issue. I know my bun needs to take a trip to the vet,

and I do plan to make that visit directly. However, I would like before I go to know some about this issue so I can rest easy this evening knowing

what is going on. As it is said, the unknown is frightening, and I believe that to be the case with this issue.

        I’ll dive in:

I was cleaning out my bunnies cage. Two bunnies, Tokki and Murderface, both live in one large cage. I clean out their cage entirely every other day. I usually vacuum out loose pellets and fur one day, and the next day, refresh the litter box, and repeat. Today, I was cleaning out their cage, and usually, when doing that, I handle the buns briefly to observe their condition and make sure all is well (reptile keeper habit I suppose), and I noticed a small bit of feces in Murderface’s groin area. Upon closer inspection, I realized that it was stuck to his testicle. I believe he may have pooed and slept in it, sat it it, etc. I certainly don’t keep their cage in a filthy condition.

I have included photographs of the problem area. My hopes are as follows:

That I understand what the issue is

That I understand the seriousness of the issue

That I have an idea of what my list of veterinary solutions may look like.

I understand you all are not vets, however I know you all are very knowledgable and seasoned rabbit owners.

To one side, it seems the testicle is crusty, and yellowed, while the pellet is almost fused it seems. It’s a bit surprising to me, as I only leave them in the cage while I’m at work.

Any words of information or help are appreciated. Thanks in advance to all!

Again, I know he needs to vet visit, and he is getting one two days from now, however, I need to know more of the issue.
