Hormonal rabbits are more inclined to mark their territory. Here is the HRS spay/neuter page and their vet listings for NC:

Cost varies from area to area so you’ll have to call around and ask. You could also contact the North Carolina House Rabbit Society directly and ask if they know of any low cost spays/neuters in your area. Rabbit rescues and shelters in your area may also know of some lower cost options.

My foster Starsky was so hormonal when I got him, which is probably why he was dumped… He would pee and poop every where and hump anything, and I mean anything, slippers, hands, blankets… The cats would not even get close to his Xpen as he would go into a frenzy… Now a few months after his neuter he is perfect, fastidious litter habits and no destruction aside from his own toys and even then he doesn’t tear them up… Entirely different bun.

My bunny Kern would pee on the couch when we first got him. He was fixed the day we signed the adoption papers, about a week or so later he jumped on the couch and peed, and would do this every time he went on the couch. He would pee on the carpet, poop everywhere, pee on people too -_- He was pretty destructive as well. it took a while for the hormones to get out of his system. Now, 4 months later he has finally stopped pooping and peeing everywhere, in fact he doesn’t even use the litter box that we have outside his cage. He goes right into his cage when he needs to use the bathroom. Still a bit destructive but not nearly as bad.

You should definitely get him fixed.
