Keep her somewhere quiet, with food/water, and safe. She’ll calm down. Does she seem injured at all?

Is she an outdoor rabbit? If you’re going to keep her outdoors her hutch needs to be secure. Her being able to escape puts her in danger. Not only of getting out and getting hurt but of something else getting in and hurting her. Most people here keep our rabbits indoors and I highly recommend making her an indoor bunny. House rabbits live longer than outside rabbits and are much safer.

Please consider bringing her inside permanently or at the very least keeping her inside until her cage/hutch is safer.

Thank you. But it was totally secure, and no she isn’t injured she was hopping around a bit and i didn’t notice anything. But we may move her into the garage so she is safer and we are going to make sure she can’t get out again.

It’s not totally secure if she can escape. If you don’t part cars in your garage then I think that would be a good idea. If cars go in and out the exhaust can be dangerous to a rabbit’s delicate respiratory system.

What a scare! I’m sure you’re both a bit shaken.

I agree that if she has escaped, the hutch isn’t secure enough. Is is possible somebody came by and let her out on purpose? In that case, you may want to put a lock on it.

Moving her to the garage isn’t a bad idea, though like MoveDiagonally said, only if there are no cars in there. Moving cars in an out will create a lot of exhaust that isn’t good for her.
