Well she needs to be spayed so that she will not get uterine cancer, that’s the main reason to spay.

As far as her behavior, rabbits hate to be held. Also rabbits show their love/trust in different ways and many times it can take a good long while for a rabbit to trust you. Keeping a routine helps so they know what to expect is crucial. I think you have to realize as well that rabbits aren’t going to show their “love” in the way you may expect them to. It’s really more about trust with rabbits than anything else. Some rabbits too are just more independent than others.

What are you doing to gain her trust?

              I agree with Sarita.

You want to get down to her level and let her approach you. In general getting down to a rabbits level is the best way to bond with them. You can also try hand feeding her (pellets) and maybe clicker training. Spaying is really important for the health of a female rabbit. They also have an 80% of developing cancer if they are not spayed. Also, unspayed female rabbits are usually less friendly than their spayed counterparts as their hormones make them more prone to territorial behaviors.

I’m not sure what you mean by taking her on walks?

We have a little leash that is safe for her to ware. It just makes it safe for her to run around and get exercise

Leashes/harness are not really safe for rabbits. They can break their limbs and backs in them if they pull against the harness/leash. Even people that use leashes/harness frequently with rabbits that are used to them have accidents that result in death or injury.

It’s never been worth the risk to me. Much safer would be supervising her in an X-Pen.
