Since I havent yet been able to talk my parents into letting me bring my bunny in I wanted to get him something warm to sleep in. I found these fleece pet hut’s. Their made for dogs but they make one tiny enough for a bunny. I’m just worried he’d chew it up. Would something like this be safe for me to put in his hutch? There so darn cute

I think for an outdoor bunny this would probably get really really dirty. Also, if your bunny is a chewer then he might chew on it and possibly ingest the fibers. I would keep things simple while he’s still outside and give him a cardboard box filled with hay (maybe a small fleece blanket) to help him keep warm. Be sure that there is something to block the wind too.

It depends, I see lots of these things being sold and we bought one (also for an outdoor bunny) they loved it but unfortunately it started to get chewed to we took it out worried they would swallow the materials. It depends wether you bunny likes to chew things or not. For winter, we have given them something which had a plastic hot water bottle type thing that you put this soft cover on and they loved it. I would definitely recommend something like that instead if you are worried about them being too cold. It’s called a snuggle safe heat pad, if your interested.

Oh, and can I add, yes our bed thing did get quite dirty, they like to go to the toilet in it!

I’m not sure if he’d chew on it. He doesn’t really chew on the blankets I lay on the floor when he plays. He gives them a little nibble here and there but no serious chewing. Its got a removable fleece insert and can be put through the wash which I liked. I like the warm water bottle idea I’ll check that out

Maybe I could order two and switch them out every few days or so. Their only 10$ with shipping so their not super pricey. I think I’d feel a lot safer with my bun being outdoors with a heat lamp and that heating pad.
