So, My bunny hurt his leg it’s bandaged and he has to wear a collar to keep from eating the bandage. Last night and during the day he was fine – I had it off a lot thigh the day because he is a lion lop and the collar was making his eyes sore a bit because it was pushing his fluffy mane into his eyes a bit. Not horrendously just enough for me to want to give him a break. Put it on when I had to leave the house for half an hour and he was fine but tonight he has slipped out of the e collar twice already. My flatmate and I are now taking turns staying awake with him. Every time he slips out of it he goes strait for the bandage! The collar is a larger one I think meant for a cat adapted to fit so it is just taped together and not tied on. Any ideas about how I can get it to stay on thought the night so I can sleep? Or how to make a better way of stopping him getting to the bandage or deter him from eating it?

hmm How about wrapping it around to where you feel it would be tight enough, marking the spots, and poking new holes thru it and use something to tie it together, like a piece of gauze or a shoestring. Or if you happen to have a harness, you could maybe rig the collar to fit him backwards, like a skirt, and attach it to the harness so he can’t slip through it.
