Our bun Levi absolutely loves our 13yr old golden! He climbs on him and lays with him and pretty much runs and binkies around him. Tonight he was acting awfully strange. It started like normal with the climbing and running around and then when I put the dog outside to go to the bathroom, Levi starting thumping and running angrily and thumping more and acting alert. It was very strange. This bun does not thump for anything and he never looks alert. Any possible ideas? I know he’s getting to the stage of puberty but I find it hard to believe he would act like that? Any advice would be very helpful and thanks in advance!

My bunny Bam fell in love with my dog. Bam wasn’t neutered but I’d had him for a year. He became absolutely obsessive about the dog, he stalked her ran circles around her, climbed on her and nipped her. He kept pestering her all day long. Luckily she’s a kind and patient dog. I had to separate Bam from her though so she should get some rest. He then tried to eat his way through the grid I’d put in the doorway, he wouldn’t stop, he was a bunny possessed. That + that he developed a habit of peeing and pooping in the sofa where the dog usually lies + on all her blankets and rugs made me decide to have him neutered. About 2 weeks after the surgery these behavioural issues went away.

I think your bun was seriously pissed off because you stole away the future mother of his children. It’s understandable. Love is important to a bunny.
