I have a question. I gave Biddy some kale a while ago, and she loved it but it gave her diarrhea so I cut that out. Then I waited a few days before trying anything new, which was romaine lettuce. And she ate it and seems to like it. But like last time, she got pretty sleepy afterwards and just wanted to lay down in her cage even though the door was open for her. Could she not be feeling well from the lettuce? How can I find greens that agree with her if she just gets sick?

She may have a bit of tummy troubles from the veggies. How much of each veggie are you starting with? You need to start with a very small piece, then wait several hours. If you notice a reaction (mushy poops, bloat, etc.) from even a small piece, that vegetable may not agree with her. If there is no reaction, you may give her a slightly larger piece the next day, and the next, until she has her full amount of vegetables. The most well-taken veggies are, romaine lettuce, parsley, red or green leaf lettuce. Good luck!

Okay, I may have just given her too much too soon. Thanks!
