  Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and I brought home my first bunny friend a few days ago! She’s a four month old lionhead who I call Biddy! So far no notable issues except that she has the attention span of a fruitfly. My roommate and I also have a ferret who lives in our living room, so I decided to keep Biddy in my room. She adjusted pretty quickly (is currently lounging against the wall a few feet away from me) and I think she likes me. At least I hope she does.
  
  Very glad to have found this wonderful forum! I’m sure I’ll have questions and concerns left and right that google searching won’t help with. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and their bunnies!

  Please please be very careful with the ferret, rabbits are the preferred prey for ferrets in the wild, never let them have access to each other.

  Welcome to BB! Very adorable bun. Definitely keep the ferret away. I used to have ferrets and have seen them kill. As adorable as they are, their hunting something alive is quite vicious. Double up your efforts of a making safe place for Biddy, make sure she is secure whenever you open your door.

  I agree with others, keep the ferret totally separate. Rabbits are prey animals and ferrets are one of their natural predators.

  Having two Lionheads, I can say they are absolutely one of my favorite breeds! I can’t wait to see pictures!
