My rabbits own a 150 square foot room. They are always out and hopping about (hahah that rhymed ?) So that being said,I have some things I have always wondered about floor time. Because they have their own room, my bunnies get floor time twice a week, is that ok? My two are not encredibly active, they do hop around during floor time, but they don’t do crazy laps or anything. Do they need more than that? My floor time area is my hallway upstairs and our screened-in porch area outside(when its not hot, supervised). Also, to get my bunnies to these areas, I have to pick them up, and obviously they hate that, so does anybody have any ideas?

If they are free-range why do they need ‘floor time’ at all? That seems like a pretty good sized room so they shouldn’t have any trouble getting enough exercise in.

If they are free range in the room their space needs are being met and any additional space/floor time is a bonus. Sounds like they have a great set up!

I agree that they have plenty of floor time already.

Thanks everybody for the replies! I will continue to give them floortime occasionally just for a change of scenery and all that jazz, but I am glad to know they are fine in their room.
