So, I recently got offered a new job based in Surrey, which is approximately a 6 hour drive from where I live now. Naturally, I’m taking the two bunnies with me. My concern is how to get them down there. Dusky is fine with travelling and doesn’t seem to mind it too much, victor on the other hand really hates it. He gets stressed to the point where the entire carrier is shaking and he totally freaks out over it. Any suggestions on how to make it easier for him? Dusky always tried to reassure h which is sweet but it makes little difference. We were wondering if a mild sedative from the vet would help at all?

Going to the vet isn’t a bad idea. Stress is very hard on a bunny and a 6 hour ride would be really hard on him. I would try getting him comfortable in the carrier and maybe a stopwatch that clicks will sooth him. A sedative would deffinatly help in my opinion and would be a lot less stressful on the bun.
