While I was gone on holidays, my rabbits had seemed to got inot a small bag of unsalted peanuts. They were on a second shelve of a NIC storage unit, with their litter box on the bottom. They seemed to have ripped the bag through the bars and ate  them all. Thankfully it was a very small bag of peanuts so it wasnt like a whole bag or anything.

I know some rabbit treats and food mixes have peanuts in them but I NEVER buy anything like that because I want my rabbits to have the best diet. SO I think they should be fine but hust wanted your guyes thoughts on it.

I don’t know which one of the two ate them, if not both of them.

Cheeky Rascals, I think as long as you give them an extra healthy diet for a while they should be fine, they might have weird poos today, Muffin munched my salad when I turned my back and he was fine (Extra Cecals than usual). (Don’t worry, there wasn’t any dressing )

Rabbits do love peanuts, both my boys attack me if I’m eating peanuts. I sometimes let tham have half a peanut each.

If the bag was small I don’t think you need to worry, as Muffinluv says. You’ll probably see some extra cecals. Give them mostly hay today because hay is the best way to fix a bunny’s stomach.

They will most likely be fine. Peanuts are like junkfood, they won’t really harm them, just not a healthy food. As always when a bun eats something naughty, monitor poops closely.

Thanks everyone for answering. My rabbits have seemed to be fine. My rabbits are on a VERY healthy diet. They eat unlimited timothy grass hay, 1/8 cup of oxbow pellets and a plate of veggies to share.
I will keep a close eye on them though. Thanks again for your concerns and answers
