Until today, I had Nellie’s whole floor in her cage covered in shavings. Today I changed to a healthier bedding and only put it in her bathroom spot. Since then (about 7 or 8 hours ago) she hasn’t pooped, has peed once and will barely touch her hay, pellets or water. She will still eat veggies fine if I feed them to her, and is running around and playing like normal. I’m getting a bit worried about it though.

What bedding did you switch to? Rabbits really don’t need bedding at all, honestly, just litter. But, some of the beddings can be ingested and may cause a blockage. She could also just be upset that her home changed without her permission.

Nellie seems to be fine now. She was being stubborn that I moved her food/hay around when I was cleaning her cage and forgot to put it back in the right spot. I think she didn’t like that. She is eating/pooping just fine now.

I was thinking the same thing SB “Diva Bunny Tanty”
I’d just keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn’t tantrum her way into stasis and also check around.. It is not unusual for them to select a secondary poo spot out of spite and to make you stress.
