So it’s corn on the cob season here in New Hampshire, and last night we have the most delicious corn fresh from a nearby 350 yr old farm. Before we cooked it, hubby broke off the very tip of one cob (about an inch and a half long) and gave it to Jo-Jo to eat the corn off it. Well, she LOVED it – I have yet to find anything she doesn’t like! – and after 5 minutes I looked over and the entire cob was gone! Now, it was extremely fresh and soft, and she must have just chewed it right up, but has anyone elses’ bun eaten the cob? She ‘s pooping eating and binky-ing this morning, so all looks well, any thoughts? Any concerns?

I would just keep an eye on her. Corn is not a recommended treat for bunnies because it’s mostly starch, and too much can throw off their digestive system, but a little bit probably isn’t going to hurt.

I agree, just keep an eye on her. And don’t give her cobs (or corn) in the future.
