Fleur is a mini lop and is around 3 months. His official name is fleur, but we just call him bunny.

He loves lots of cuddles and kisses. In fact he will kiss anything he can reach. Don’t let him near your shoes or he’ll have a good nibble

He lives outside but get lots and lots of human attention, and some from our dog. He doesn’t really ‘get’ playing yet, despite our dogs attempts to get him to play fetch.

We think he might be a little bit special, but that’s ok because he’s very special to us regardless.

He loves squishing himself into the smallest places.

Overall he’s our lovely little furbaby.

Welcome to you and your adorable bunny, Fleur. I’m a bit jealous that your bun is so cuddly! Wish my boys liked to cuddle.

I think we got lucky with our bunny

Hopefully things won’t change when he erm, goes through the change haha

He is lovely though, his favourite place for cuddle is perched on our shoulders. He’d sit there and purr all day long if I didn’t put him down

He is adorable! I love the last photo of him on your lap. He looks like he melted :p. may I ask why you felt it best to house him outside?

We just don’t have the room inside. My mum and dad own a business and their stock takes up a great deal of the house and makes it an unsafe place for unsupervised bunnies. We also have a dog who is ok with the bunny running around but can get a bit heavy handed. Overall it was just the safest option. I don’t feel like he misses out on anything being outside. He lives right next to our back door so we can see him all the time, and as I said he spends a long time being cuddled inside

He does sort of melt, his legs spawl out all over, it’s so cute.

Welcome! Fleur is beautiful! My bunnies were housed outside until I was 13. Is he a burrower? We used to fill the back area (or bedroom area that was completely walled in except for a door) filled with shavings from floor to ceiling and my buns would make burrows. It was always cool to open the back door and see all the tunnels they made. Despite the stereotype (haha), our winters are very mild and if we do get snow it usually melts within a day so this was also enough to keep the buns warm and comfy. If we did have a “harsh” winter, we would put a heat light in the hutch or move it into the garage.

Just be very careful about how big the spacing on your wire is and that the door closes tight. My last outdoor buns were killed in their sleep by rats that wanted to move in to the nice hutch. They chewed a small hole through the bottom where we couldn’t see and snuck in. My family has had rabbits for generations and nobody expected that to happen. I’m not trying to scare you or convince you to bring him inside, I just like to tell people about that so that they can keep a watch for it.

That is such a good idea. He had a box full of hay and treats (herbs and such) that he burrowed on for a while but it didnt last all the long, i didnt think about filling his bedroom!
I supect if the weather is bad this winter he will end up inside for the worst of it

Thanks for the rat tip, I reattached the wire better a while back, so he couldnt get out, now i will make a point of checking whether anything can get in!

                           We are very lucky

When we were looking for a rabbit we couldn’t pick which one we wanted and fleur was labelled as sold. We were super sad and weren’t really feeling the others (we couldn’t think of any names, which is a silly reason, but it just didn’t feel right), luckily we heard the staff talking about how they needed to take that sold sticker off! Turns out he wasn’t sold

I think it was meant to be
