You really need to do a web search of places where you might buy it to find that out. It varies from big box store to lumber yard, depending on where you live and what you have access to. Let your fingers do the walking and check websites or make phone calls first.

I only want to caution you that when you buy wood to build, you have to get “Untreated” wood. It’s the kind that does not have any chemicals added to preserve it. Those chemicals are dangerous for a bunny to chew and inhale, especially over a long period of time. A cage lasts a long time, so you need to be cautious at the beginning.

            6 or 60 sq ft?

You posted this same topic twice. I am not sure if this was a forum glitch or if you posted twice on purpose for some reason.

I am deleting the duplicate thread. The above response from MD was posted in the second thread, so I copied that here so you could see her question.

This is exactly what we did for our bunnies cage. I think the wood costs us like 13 or 14 dollars. And we got the sticky tiles to put over it and those range depending on which design you want I’d advise getting some sorta rug to put in there so they can get on it sometimes. Harley likes the tile and Sally likes getting on the rug.

The only thing I will warn you about with the sticky tiles is that crumbs, pee, and water can seep into the cracks and soak into the wood.

You can get very cheap lino or lino remnants.
