My bunny is about 9 weeks old. Since I got her she’s been eating All living things brand hay. I am almost out of that brand of hay, I bought a new brand(Vitakraft) which is very shortly cut and kinda I say dusty since the hay is cut so thinly that when I pick up a handful hay just falls like dust. Anyways my cousin (in the room beside mine) has two hamsters both are being treated for wet-tail, I have notice under her is a little wet but I smelt it today(was extemly worried for her) it had no scent so I don’t think it came from her butt. Should I give her some medican or just switch her hay back?

Edit: On the subject of wet-tail she is acting like her normal self eating, drinking, running around, and loving on me.

Rabbits do not get wet tail. It sounds as if your bun is having issues with the hay change. Her gut probably likes the coarser hay and is having a hard time adjusting to the soft stuff. I would switch your bun back to the old hay. But don’t throw out the new stuff you got. You can mix the two so that way you are not wasting money by throwing it out.

No problem. I would just keep an eye on the poo to make sure that it returns to normal. If it doesn’t switch back, going to see a vet never hurts.
