When I first got Ollivander, he was living in a tiny pet store cage, with no toys or hideaways (and a lot of other things that were very wrong …) Of course I couldn’t keep him in there, so I ordered him an x-pen and he got a whole lot of attention and spent most of the day outside his cage while I waited for it to get here. 2 weeks later it came…

        Checking out the box

        Helping me tear it open!

Not quite sure what’s going on here…

“Let me just move these out of the way…”

I really think I could have gotten a shorter one  But at least I’ll never be paranoid about him getting out!

I did my best to set up the pen, in a very strange shape  I finally found the energy to rearrange all the furniture in the room so it could fit better and found a cheap rug to put under it instead of the bed sheet I had been using. It’s been set up this way for about a month, but I wanted to get some wall decor before I took pics!

So here is Ollivander’s new, very large pen:

Panorama shot. Really wish I had gotten one with a step through door. I can fit, but it’s really a pain to crawl in there to clean

He has plenty of things to occupy him!

        A size comparison

Close up of the wall decals, which I’m in love with!

My little boy enjoying his veggies

Awesome setup! I ordered a 36″ high x-pen also that just got delivered today. I had originally ordered a 24″ figuring Simba’s a little bunny too, but the other night he almost jumped over the 23″ high cardboard that I’m temporarily using (freaked me out!) and I immediately ordered for express shipping the higher one. I can’t wait to get off work to set it up and use some inspiration I got from looking at your setup! Thanks for sharing the pics!

Lol, mine isn’t much of a jumper, but now I’m happy I went with the 36″

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I’ve been working a lot more and although I feel guilty leaving him, at least he has a nice big cage now. I know he has room to binky and run, but of course I still get the evil eye when I come home
