I asked someone to get me wood pellets for my rabbit’s litter and he got me these bags labeled “Wood Cat Litter”.

They look and feel like pretty normal pellets, the bag doesn’t mention any accelerants, but it says its “anti bacterial”.

Are all wood pellets anti bacterial? Or does this have some substance added? Is it a good thing or harmful?

I have never heard of anti-bacterial pellets before. What is the brand of the wood cat litter? It’s perfectly safe to use Feline Pine or the equine variety called Equine Pine.

            I’ve never heard this either.

All wood has antibacterial properties. So as long as they are advertising that it is naturally antibacterial and nothing has been added, then it should be fine.
