Okay, more weird behavior between Zeusbunny and Herarabbit.  .

As mentioned before, Zeus likes to just hang out by Hera’s cage when he’s loose.  This morning, while he was sitting next to her, they sniffed noses, Hera growled and nipped (and missed), and Zeus did the little playful head-spin, then binkied!  The second he landed, he sniffed noses with her again, then before she had a chance to really react, he binkied again.

Zeus is a big laidback lop.  He hardly ever binkies.  Two binkies in a row is a very rare sight for him!  After the second binky, he went back to just hanging out by her cage.

Any idea what this means?  It’s so interesting watching them interact.

If it weren’t for the nipping, I’d say he’s playing with her and teasing her and enjoying it thoroughly. My only qualm is that she growled and nipped, which might mean she was seriously ticked off at him. Keep an eye out and an ear open for her doing that again. If she means it, he may change his mind and a fight could ensue, so be ready to separate them. But binkies are definitely good. He might be saying Nya, nya, you can’t get my nose!

They’re still always seperated, one is always in their cage if the other is out.  And if growling starts, I usually say “Hey!”  or “Bunnies, be nice.” and they stop.

But LOL, yeah the teasing her saying nya nya nya can’t get me sounds like it would certainly make sense!  Hera is usually pretty nonchalant about him most of the time, and likes to sit close to him when she’s in her cage and he’s close by.

Yup, sounds to me like he is just enjoying the interaction despite how she feels.
