ok so polly eats sooo much slower than peeta. its like she eats a piece then goes off and does something else and then comes back. its impossible to feed them together. so am i going to have to seperate everytime i feed? could this have bad effects on their bond? i dont think its her teeth bc she eats plenty of hay. she loves her litter box. but it takes a long time for her to feed her vegies and she never finishes 1/2 cup of pellets.

Powder has a similar issue, he never would finish his pellets in one sitting when he was solo. Stickers on the other hand barely chews. So when they got together, she would do his share and hers. So, I started feeding them slowly, breaking the amount up over the day. Over time Powder started realizing Stickers finished what he didn’t, so now he races to the food with her. He still eats slower, so I break it up into two servings. Mine get about half cup between both of them (6 & 8 lbs) and lots of veggies with unlimited hay.
