Aries, our Dutch rabbit, started spraying my husband, and now myself, about 2 months ago, and it has really snowballed.  We used to let him have the run of the living room/kitchen when we were home, but lately every time we walk around he sprays all over.  Like I said, he never used to do this, and I had him neutered when he was just a couple months old.  I have a vet appointment for 2 weeks from now, but does anyone have any advice?  Is this just because he’s young?  Could there be something medically wrong?  I haven’t made any changes to his diet.  We did move in October, but we were in the new place for months before it started.  Please help!  He is our first rabbit, so I’m kinda a newbie mom!

Hmm, weird! The foremost possibility in my mind is that the move might have something to do with it, though you’re right that the timeline does seem a little strange. It’s also possible that his testicles weren’t properly removed during his neuter – I think it occasionally happens that an undescended testicle is ignored because the vet couldn’t find it. Have you made any other changes around the house recently, anything that would cause Aries to come into contact with new scents?
