I’m sorry if I post in  the wrong section, I’m new here. But I really need help.

My bunny recently recovered from GI Stasis a few days ago. Now he got something that looks like diarrhea. He pooped with some water plus his mouth is excreting water (or saliva, I’m not so sure). He also hides his head in a dark place after he pooped. He ate some veggie this morning and afternoon but tonight  (I’m GMT+7) he haven’t ate anything. What should I do? There’s no vet that really know about rabbit in my country. Please help…

Hi Katherine…. What country are you in (also the nearest large city) I will try to find a vet in your area…
Did you take your bunny to a vet for the stasis ? If so contact them immediately, any vet is better than no vet at all…
Does your bunny have access to hay and or pellets or are vegetables the main part of his diet ?

            Thank you. I’m in Indonesia.
Yes I brought him to a vet for GI stasis but he didn’t recover, so I brought him to a rabbit shop owner and he recovered after we gave him the medicine.

He only ate small amount of pellet yesterday. Before the GI stasis we gave him pellet and veggie and fruit.

OK… There is an exotic specialist in Jakarta… If that is not close to you try telephoning them for information… Maybe your vet would be willing to contact them and get advice on how to treat this…

Do you have access to hay ? It is a very important part of their diet and is essential for good tummies and teeth.

                    Thanks for researching that, Roberta.
I would also add to the suggestion of hay that you stay away from fruit until he is totally recovered, as that may be adding to the watery excretions. I don’t like the sound of his mouth being watery, but until you get to a good rabbit vet or back to the rabbit expert you’ve worked with, I would say just try to stablize him with very simple, basic diet foods. Hay and water in unlimited quantity. Mild greens, just the basic lettuces (not iceberg, however) and maybe small pieces of carrot.
Let us know if you can’t reach the vets Roberta found. If they are not convenient to you, ask them to recommend someone near where you are. They will know each other if they specialize and may be able to help via word of mouth.

Thank you for all your help. Sadly my rabbit passed away before I could call the vet.
