On the upside, boys recover from neutering much quicker and there is no difference in affection or behavior in fact I find my boys tend to be more likely to actively seek cuddles than my girls.

Little boy That’s nice because it’s an easy surgery to neuter than spay and usually cheaper too!

Why should I neuter him? He does not go around other bunnies and he is not aggressive. He is very nice and loves to be held. He has never bit me or anything.

This is the long and short of it http://www.bio.miami.edu/hare/spay.html It’s up to you but it’s healthier for them to be fixed, same as dogs and cats

At 3 months I would say some of the best reasons for neutering will soon become self evident…….

So the previous owner had this bunny for 3 years and never looked down there?

Neutering isn’t as critical as spaying would be (health-wise). As mentioned above, it is really up to you. Most people want to neuter because of behavior and/or because they want to bond two rabbits.

I guess not. He was stuck in a small cage all day, he was never fed Timothy hay ever, only pellets and his nails were SOOOO long. He could barely walk around because they were so long and curled. So i can see how no one would have known he was a boy

Makes me so mad when I hear about poor little buns and other animals neglected that way.
So glad you have taken him and given him a loving home.
