Not many buns enjoy being picked up. As natural prey for birds, when they’re picked up, they feel as though they’re being picked up by a predator. The fact that she was okay with it earlier is a little frustrating to you I bet. For now, try giving her treats and letting her come to you. Don’t pick her far off the ground. If you’re sitting on the ground, just lift her into your lap and pet her. Hopefully this will help a little.

How old is she? Young bunnies are usually easy to handle and people mistake this for the bunny enjoying. Then one day they snap and realize being held is not a good thing. This is completely normal.

What is her daily diet like? Type and quantity of pellets, veggies, hay, and treats?

she never showed any intrest in hay so thats not it,the pellets are the ones you buy in the big bag i cant remember the name, and treats are yogurt strawberry treats.

Hay should be about 80% of a bunnies diet so it’s really important that they have some available at all times. It’s their main source of fiber. What kinds of hay have you tried?

Can you look at your bag of pellets and tell us what kind they are? There are many kinds marketed for bunnies that aren’t very good for them. The less healthy ones can also cause digestive upset.

You don’t want to feed your bunny any yogurt treats because they can’t digest dairy and this can also cause some tummy issues.

Generally speaking an adult rabbit should be eating daily:
Unlimited Hay ( should be high or “horse quality”)
1/4-1/2 cup of pellets per 6lbs of body weight.
2 cups of bunny safe veggies per 6lbs of body weight.

Here are some really great articles about bunny diet:

Spaying is extremely important for female rabbits. They have an 80% chance of getting uterine cancer and spaying eliminates that risk. I urge you to look into spaying your rabbits and read the links I posted above to get some good info on what’s recommended diet wise.
