my beloved netherland dwarf, jessica rabbit, crossed the rainbow bridge last wk.  We are considering a flemish giant as a replacement pending approval from our lop.  Just wanted to know how to adjust our pen to accomodate a big bunny.  How much pee & poop are we talking about.  We have about 5 litterboxes at present.  Normal food & water bowls/ bottles.  Dh is very concerned about our carpet & accidents.  Pls let me  know ur thoughts/suggestions.

Hi! I have a flemmie, and though it does seem that she poos more than my last bunny, she litter trained quickly. I got a huge litterbox, so you may have to upsize your boxes, and as a growing baby she eats a TON! So be prepared for a higher food bill, and I got her a dog bed to sleep in – which she loves and does not nibble it, thank goodness! My last bun “unstuffed” everything. My last bun was a mini rex, and was able to hide / squeeze into tiny spaces – usually where he wasn’t supposed to go – so it’s nice that my flemmie doesn’t try that. Though my last bun never tried to jump up on the firniture, and this one easily hops up ( when she stantd on her hind legs, she’s head & shoulders above the couch seat so it’s not much of a jump for her – and she’s only 12 weeks old! She’s a love and a real clown! Please post if you get a flemmie! I’d love to hear about it’s personality!

MiuMiu peed outside the litter box yesterday. It took 3 paper towels to absorb all the liquid.
She is close to 6 month old.
