My son’s bunny, Digdug is officially a girl so she gets everything from Digdug to Princess Peach to babygirl, etc. Despite his high hopes and advice followed, she doesn’t seem to like him where coming to him is concerned. She is okay after he gets her out and is holding her but it is more often than not, forced which is unfortunate. My other son and I can pick her up just fine.

Anyway, I built a “playpen” of sorts with her cage inside it and open so that she can go in and out as she pleases but I feel like she must be bored with no toys and figured I should come here and see what is recommended. She managed to get ahold of my oldest son’s work cap and nibble it over night last night and I found that she had fun with the window ledge on the back side of her pen by knawing on it real good in ten places. Luckily, I am buying the home and don’t have a landlord to explain the damage to, LOL!

How old is she/he now? I looked back at your old posts, about 4 months now?  Most bunnies don’t like being held and she’s getting into the puberty range.

          For toys:
          Willow chews (untreated)
          Hidey Homes (carboard boxes)
Things to toss around like baby keys
Things stuffed with hay (toilet paper rolls, the carboard part)
          Tunnels

I love the name(s) of your bunny! I did a treat bag for my baby bunny and she’s been playing with it for days. Maybe that’ll help?

So it is safe for her to chew open the bag to get to the treat then?
I got her closer to May. When I went in to buy one on Easter (of all times, LOL despite it NOT being about easter that I was getting one), they were newborn and I was told I would have to wait 6 weeks but they let her go at 5 because mom was rejecting them milk and they were eating and drinking on their own so 5 then May and now most all of June adds up to 3 months give or take a few days.
Yes, we have definately gotten that “stubborn” don’t jack with me back leg thumps warning.
I knew she was ready to need toys or something when I laughingly watched her lift the cage door up and let it bang down over and over.
              Thanks!!

The treat bags are usually made with brown paper bags which are safe.

3 months hormones (hopefully) aren’t coming out of the woodwork yet. I think my lady bunnies started getting a little temperamental between 4-6 months.
