I am currently using a plastic dog crate tray as the flooring of my buns cage and what the tray doesn’t cover I have ceramic tile as you can see in the picture. I tray is cracked in the one corner so I am looking at different options. I called around my area for linolieum but they don’t sell pieces that are big enough and if I get to pieces and put them together it will be very costly. I was thinking of covering the whole cage with ceramic tile I am just worried in the winter it will be really cold for her. Any opinions I would greatly appreciate them. Thanks

What about wooden base with vinyl tile?

I’m not sure where you’re located but at Home Depot these are fairly cheap:

For your condo size it would cost about $3.64 + plywood. It wouldn’t have to be very thick as it’s just sitting on the floor.

I’d do a plywood with vinyl stick’em tiles on it. The hardware store will cut the plywood to size for you.

Thanks can I use any type of wood. The only problem I might have is sometimes my bunny likes to dump her water dish would the wood get wet?

If you cover it with vinyl stick tiles you can wipe it up without any issues.

I bought the flooring for my son’s rabbit, Digdug, from our next door neighbor. It was propped against the wall on her porch from some unfinished remodeling and just what I had in mind to make a pen out of and she asked for a couple of dollars so I gave her three, LOL!
So maybe look around your neighborhood while out walking or something. Never know what you might spy hidden away and no longer needed.

I can’t think of the name of this type of wood but it is like dozens of pieces of wood chips pressed together. Here is a photo of it:

(the last pic on the page)
It’s perfect because she can gnaw on the edges as much as she pleases and so forth.
I made it large enough to still house her house so that she could run in and out as she pleases and HAD to make it because of what she does after she poops which is flip sideways and sprint around (to get the stuck poops off of her bottom funnily enough)
which was causing spills and messes as she outgrew just the cage so fast.

Yes most rabbits do out grow those types of cages!

I just bought a vinyl remnant from Home Depot it was 6’x8′ and only $25. Looks like it should cover your space.

You might be able to use coroplast, considering that your cage isn’t that big it shouldn’t be that expensive. If not, you could buy some plywood and put vinyl on it!

I have fabric that is attached with Velcro to mdf particle board. I can take it off and run it through the washing machine

on the bottom floor of my buns condo I have what my boyfriend calls “old people carpet” which is actually industrial carpet. Super easy to clean, and doesn’t absorb liquids. Easy to vacuum down too.
