StickyBun was neutered today…and all went well and was completely uneventful!

He got through surgery like a champ (with me right by his side, of course!) and was eating within a couple hours of waking up!  We now have poops all over his xpen tonight but that is okay…he had quite the day!

Just thought I would let everyone know that all went very smoothly.  Now to get those hormones out of him!!

Thanks guys!  I know we hear so many horror stories…so I thought a nice, stree free surgery story would be a nice change and hopefully give others who are very worried a little peace of mind

And believe it or not, I actually took a bit of a risk with my boy!  The clinic where I work has two veterinarians and one of the doctors is quite rabbit savvy…and the other is not so much but he is wanting to learn.  Soooo…I told him I was more than willing to let him do StickyBun’s neuter!  My only stipulation was that I was the tech assisting with the surgery, which of course was no problem.  Everything went perfectly and my doctor was very glad that I was willing to let him have the experience…and I was very glad as well!
