Used to ginve Velvet a couple slices of fresh apple spayed with lemon juice + water to keep from browning. She had an over abundence of cecals then. Stopped the apples, changed from wally world pellets with all the goodies built in, and gave increased hay . We are cecal free around here……………..I can live with the hard dry marbels………………I just sliced an apple paper thin thru in my de-hydrator, and had these apple chips in about 3 hors. Well……………………Velvet loves em. Do ya think the cecals will return? I’m really hoping not cause they are just “nasty! LOL”

i’ve found that my bunny tolerates dry apple-slices better than fresh apple. I too use a dehydrator.

But I don’t give more than 1-2 slices a day. They will keep for a long time if stored in a jam-jar with the lid screwed on tightly.

Just remember that you should only give about 2tsp of fruit per 2lbs of body weight daily.
