Beckham is a 3 lb holland lop and he is currently living in a 4×4 xpen. In his pen is a large litter box, hay/food rack, water bottle, a hidey house, a cardboard tube for chewing and crawling through, and several toys (none of which he seems to play with), and a small towel for bunching. Am I forgetting anything? He did have a sea grass mat which ended up turning into a pee mat so I removed it. Once litter box habits are more established I’ll put it back in. I want his xpen to be comfy since his out of pen time is limited while we’re working on litter box training and also refinishing our basement so we have a big carpeted area for him to run around.

You’re habitat sounds great for him.

What kind of stuff does he like to do? Move stuff, dig, etc… ?

I’ve never seen him dig, but things are often rearranged so I guess move stuff! What he really seems to do is eat, rest, and poop!

My organizer bunnies like baby keys. There are also interlocking rings (made for babies) that they like to toss around Stacking cups work well too.

This is a dumb question but do you suspend the baby keys from something so they dangle or just put them on the floor of the cage? I’m having trouble visualizing him playing with certain toys since he doesn’t seem to play much in general

They pick them up with their mouth One of my bunnies just moves them around and another loves to pick them up and shake them.

I couldn’t find any good pictures of the shaking but here’s Penny moving stuff:

If he likes to chew, willow toys are wonderful. My bunnies love the baskets and willow rings from the BB store.

Mine love simple toys like cardboard boxes, toilet rolls with hay and pellets in, willow trees and baby keys. I spent alot on pet shop toys but they prefer home made stuff to distort!
